NJHA is joining in the nationwide observance of Hospital Week, Skilled Nursing Care Week and Nurses Week. It’s always an important time to recognize the commitment and contributions of our members and their care teams, but especially so during these difficult times. Here’s some of the outreach under way this week to spotlight your vital work.

• Hospital Week: NJHA’s Hospital Week 2021 video can be found on You Tube and is being shared across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram throughout the week. AHA has special Hospital Week content as well, including an original song commemorating the commitment of our hospital teams.

• Skilled Nursing Care Week: We have worked with members to gather quotes from grateful residents and family members and have turned them into a series of graphics appearing on our social media feeds throughout the week.

• Nurses Week: NJHA has joined with New Jersey Nursing Initiatives to raise awareness of peer-support programs for nurses who have been nothing short of heroic in this pandemic. A new webpage and a series of social media posts showcase “N.J. nurses helping nurses.”
