Sept. 07, 2016: Senior Care Masters Certificate Program Starts Sept. 29

Places are still available for registration in the 2016 Masters Certificate in Senior Care Management, led by the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations in partnership with LeadingAge NJ and NJHA.

This is a unique 10-session program that not only results in a Masters Certificate, but also offers up to 30 LNHA/CALA credits for attendees. A detailed description of each of the 10 sessions can be found on the program’s web site. The weekly classes begin Sept. 29 in Piscataway.

Already registered are participants from Medicaid managed care plans, PACE organizations,  large home health agencies, senior living providers, large non-profit senior care systems and state government – a diverse group of professionals seeking to learn together, representative of the growing and changing field of senior care.

Graduates from the 2015 program have said the courses provided opportunities to interact with caregivers from other environments, enriched participants’ general knowledge base and prepared the scholars for change in the sector.
