May 10, 2016: Healthcare Leaders Honored at Executive Women Gala


Leaders of healthcare organizations from around the state were honorees at the Salute to the Policy Makers gala, hosted by the Executive Women of New Jersey.

Michellene Davis, Esq., executive vice president and chief corporate affairs officer at RWJBarnabas Health, chaired the event as well as emceed the evening. President of Executive Women of New Jersey Maureen Schneider, PhD, chief nursing and operations officer for Chilton Medical Center-Atlantic Health System, also spoke to the crowd. The honorary chair of the event was Barry Ostrowsky, president and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health.

Salute to the Policy Makers honors the contributions of New Jersey women leaders from both the private and the public sectors. It also gives some of the state’s most prominent organizations an opportunity to recognize the achievements of women in their companies and on their boards.

  • Sister Patricia Codey, Esq., Catholic Healthcare Partnership of New Jersey
  • Madeline Ferraro, vice president of government and public affairs, Atlantic Health System
  • Kristen Fless, MD, director of the division of critical care of the department of medicine and director of interventional pulmonology, Saint Barnabas Medical Center
  • Sherine Gabriel, MD, dean of Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and chief executive officer of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Group
  • Brenda Hall, senior vice president of quality and safety, Jersey City Medical Center
  • Marilyn Harris, administrative director of laboratory services, Newark Beth Israel Hospital
  • Sharon Holden, assistant vice president of cardiopulmonary and critical care and emergency services, Monmouth Medical Center
  • Theresa Kubiel, assistant vice president, Community Medical Center
  • Alice Robinson, chief human resources officer and vice president, Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center
  • Lea Rodriguez, chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services, Clara Maass Medical Center
