Apr. 28, 2016: NJHA Launches Coder Mentor Program

NJHA Healthcare Business Solutions officially launched its I CODE Coder Mentoring program with two member hospitals participating, as well as several independent students looking to refine their coding expertise and launch their coding careers.

Participants in this intensive three-month program will gain an advanced understanding of coding and navigating electronic medical records allowing them to bridge the experience gap and become productive and experienced ICD-10 coders. The first cohort of students will complete the program in July.

Facilities interested in learning more about the I CODE mentor program, hiring independent participants or sending their own participants in a planned I CODE program being scheduled for the third quarter should contact Tim Keough or Maureen Barrie at 609-936-2200.
