Apr. 20, 2016: NJHA Programs in May Address Key Regulatory Topics Across the Continuum


NJHA is offering providers across the continuum a set of key programs in May. 

  • May 5, Fostering a Collaborative Nursing Home-Hospice Relationship.
    In partnership with the Home Health and Hospice Association of New Jersey and LeadingAge New Jersey, NJHA has planned a day with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the N.J. Department of Health, as well as nursing home and hospice partners, to address the challenges of meeting the needs of Medicare hospice beneficiaries who live in nursing homes.  Click here to register for this program.
  • May 11 – The Ever-Changing World of the Nursing Home Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0
    This half-day program will focus on changes to the MDS tool, new quality metrics, IMPACT Act implementation and the recent CMS release of skilled nursing facility Medicare data.  Zimmet HealthCare Services Group’s Sheryl Rosenfield will serve as faculty for this program.  Click here to register.
  • Various dates, Webinar series on N.J.A.C. 8:43E.
    Together with the N.J. Department of Health, LeadingAge New Jersey and the Health Care Association of New Jersey, NJHA has planned a four-part Webinar series to address the licensure standards that apply to all providers, in addition to the separate licensing provisions for hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care centers, home health agencies, assisted living providers and others.
