July 26, 2019: NJHA Accepting Applications for ‘Pathway Scholarship’


NJHA’s Health Research and Educational Trust of New Jersey is accepting applications for its Pathway Scholarship to support healthcare professionals of the future.

HRET will present three scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each to individuals pursuing: a gradu­ate/doctoral degree; a bachelor’s degree; or – new this year – certification training in a healthcare occupation such as certified nursing assistant or home health aide, among others.

The goal of the Pathway Scholarship is to promote career pathways that create new opportunities for healthcare professionals – and better health for the people of New Jersey.

All applications must be submitted online and will be accepted through Oct. 4. Recipients will be notified in late October and the scholarships will be presented at NJHA’s Annual Meeting to be held Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Princeton.  Although encouraged to attend, winners do not have to be present to receive the scholarship.
