May 10, 2018: Sign Up for Two-Day Medicare Advantage Intensive Conference

NJHA is hosting a two-day Medicare Advantage Intensive Conference May 17 and 18 at the NJHA Conference Center.

In New Jersey, enrollment in Medicare Advantage (MA) plans has continued to trend upward in recent years. Currently, 22 percent of Medicare eligible residents are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan. Given the limited federal regulatory oversight of MA plans, it is difficult for providers to understand what rules MA plans must follow.

The Medicare Advantage landscape is also changing with the implementation of new payment models and increased special needs plan offerings. This makes it imperative for providers to determine the most efficient way to partner with Medicare Advantage carriers.

This two-day intensive program will include thought leaders in the Medicare Advantage arena.  Participants will have an opportunity to participate in focused presentations on topics including:

  • Oversight and regulations governing MA plans
  • Benefit designs and value-based contracting
  • Provider-sponsored MA plans
  • MA plan compliance challenges, and
  • MA plan appeal rules.

The faculty includes representatives from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the law firm of King & Spaulding, ECG Management Consultants, Avalere Health, Manatt and Health Management Associates.

This robust conference is an excellent opportunity for managed care executives, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, heads of care management, population health and quality improvement and other team members involved in Medicare Advantage.
