Apr. 27, 2018: Register Today: April 30 Program on Comprehensive Joint Replacement

There’s still time to register for NJHA’s April 30 education session to explore the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ decision to mandate Comprehensive Joint Replacement (CJR) in New Jersey.

The program will examine the experiences of several CJR hospitals and what providers can expect going forward.

CMS released preliminary results for the mandatory CJR bundling program in late 2017. Earlier this year, CMS decided that New Jersey hospitals must continue in the mandatory CJR program, even though other parts of the country are now considered voluntary for purposes of CJR.

Experts from DataGen also will be part of the agenda, examining the Bundled Payment for Care Improvement (BPCI) Advanced rollout that CMS announced in January. The discussion will include a look at the likely participants in New Jersey, impact on hospitals and physicians of BPCI Advanced as an advanced alternative payment model and the need for post-acute providers to remain engaged and active in this program.
