Apr. 24, 2017: Cooper and Deborah Launch HeroCare Connect Program

Cooper University Healthcare and Deborah Heart and Lung center announced the launch of a jointly supported HeroCare Connect program at an event held at the Eden-Stanley American Legion Post #294 in Pemberton.

HeroCare Connect is a new partnership that will provide access to comprehensive medical care and timely appointments for active duty military and their families, veterans and retirees. The program is best described as a concierge program connecting military with quality healthcare services.

On hand to kick off the program were Governor Chris Christie, as well as Congressmen Tom MacArthur and Donald Norcross. Adrienne Kirby, president and CEO of Cooper, presented remarks, as well as Burton C. Trebour, chair of the Deborah Heart and Lung Board of Trustees.

HeroCare Connect will serve veterans throughout the region significantly cutting wait time for appointments as well as offering high-quality services much closer to home. It will ensure care to veterans who access their primary care through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
