Telehealth Services Have Been Extended in New Jersey

Gov. Murphy has signed a law providing a 90-day extension of the state waiver that expands access to telehealth services in New Jersey. This measure, which NJHA strongly supports, will extend the current uses for 90 days beyond the expiration of the state’s public health emergency. Telehealth has been one of the important developments in preserving access to care during the COVID-19 response and has proven to be popular with both consumers and providers.
