Healthcare providers are continually searching for ways to improve care outcomes and patient safety while simultaneously lowering costs. Patient and family engagement has become an important part of that goal for healthcare organizations.

NJHA will host a Dec. 8 education program, "What’s New on the Horizon for Patient and Family Engagement in New Jersey" that will highlight several successful strategies gleaned from a statewide survey of providers. Presenters will examine 25 key strategies for successful patient and family engagement and share their own programs and actionable advice for other healthcare facilities.
