Designing Care Out of Patient Care

A Complimentary Webinar Series for the Healthcare Professional

Harm is never the intended result of patient care, yet it is the result of how care is designed. "Every system is perfectly designed for the results that it gets" is a common statement in quality improvement. To reduce and prevent harm, systems must be redesigned. Four webinars will focus on improvement methods to access and redesign care systems that contribute to four types of inpatient harm: adverse drug events for diabetic patients, venous thromboembolism (VTE), falls and pressure injuries.
