Bring Your Baby Back

Project Overview
With the assistance of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, in 1996 HRET developed and nationally distributed a video and an educational brochure titled "Bring Your Baby Back." These patient education materials provide new and prospective parents with basic information about newborn screening and the importance of bringing their babies back to the hospital should the initial newborn screening test warrant a retest.

Implementation of this project was supported by a grant from the Office for Prevention of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Human Genetics Network.
