The mission of the New Jersey Sepsis Learning Action collaborative and this face-to-face program is to spread evidence-based sepsis interventions throughout the acute and post-acute care settings. In this third yearof the collaborative, hospitals face challenges related to managing sepsis in vulnerable patient populations, preventing readmissions related to sepsis and engaging patients and their families in sepsis quality improvement efforts aimed at early recognition and rapid treatment of sepsis.

In this workshop, Dr. Leslie Nicoll will use "Manuscript Success" as a method to demystify the publishing process and provid practical evidence-based strategies for achieving publication goals. Using presentation, audience participation, question and discussion, participatants will gan knowledge and confidence in how to write manuscripts that will be favorably received by editors and reviewers. Identifying and overcoming pitfalls, ethical issues and effective use of resources will also be discussed.
