Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes showcased the improvements in COVID-19 treatment protocols achieved in the nation’s hospitals and research labs. Amid the experts interviewed from across the country was New Jersey’s own Dr. James Pruden of St. Joseph’s Health, who recounted his experience as an ED physician as well as one of the first COVID-19 patients admitted by the hospital. Dr. Pruden praised the resilience, cognitive thinking and problem-solving of his colleagues. “We can do it. There’s strength in this community.”
