New Jersey healthcare workers were well fed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to the partnership between NJHA and Frontline Foods NJ. The program served its first meals to New Jersey healthcare heroes in late April at facilities in Holmdel, Paramus, Newark, New Brunswick, Paterson and Jersey City. Funded by donations, Frontline Foods has provided more than 9,000 prepared meals to date to frontline workers in New Jersey, while also having a positive impact on communities by supporting local restaurants. Frontline Foods has now partnered with the international philanthropy World Central Kitchen.

NJHA also thanks the New Jersey Food Council and its members for providing access and next-day food delivery to healthcare workers and their families.
