Our Hospitals Are Here to Care – Safely and Effectively.

Elective procedures suspended during the COVID-19 emergency resume today, May 26 under executive order from Gov. Murphy.

Hospitals and their care teams are taking extraordinary precautions to care for all in a safe environment. Procedures have been established to protect patients and staff such as social distancing and health screenings, among others.

“We respect the Governor’s approach to a responsible reopening, including his “data determines dates” litmus test,” said NJHA President and CEO Cathy Bennett. “We agree – and the data shows that it’s time for hospitals to fully reopen their doors to people awaiting care.”
