NJHA, N.J. Sharing Network to Host 'Donation Advocacy Day'

NJHA, in partnership with the N.J. Sharing Network, will host “The Donation Advocacy Forum” webinar Monday, Oct. 19.

This forum is designed to share information on organ and tissue donation advocacy and help spread awareness to increase the number of donations across the state.

Studies have shown that when organizations come together in an all-teach, all-learn environment, best practices around organ and tissue donation are enhanced and outcomes for increased organ donation are improved.

Nearly 4,000 New Jersey residents are currently awaiting transplantation. The N.J. Sharing Network also is part of the national recovery system, which is in place for the 115,000 people on the national waiting list.

Registration is required; click here to register. CME, nursing and CLE credits will be provided.
