June 25, 2019: Hospitals, ACOs, Skilled Nursing: Check Out Patient-Driven Payment Event June 27

The skilled nursing facility Medicare payment system will undergo the most significant transformation in decades on Oct. 1 – just about 105 days from now.

The Patient-Driven Payment Model, or PDPM, will directly affect how hospitals, accountable care organizations and skilled nursing facilities continue to work together to coordinate care and manage quality. NJHA and LeadingAge NJ will host a full-day summit, Navigating Your Path to Success Under the SNF Patient Driven Payment Model, June 27 at NJHA’s Conference and Eventer Center in Princeton with experts from Health Dimensions Group.

Presenters include Brian Ellsworth, vice president of public policy and payment transformation; Michelle Kastenholz, director of therapy and reimbursement consulting; Katherine Davis, PDPM implementation consultant; and Michael Riley, MDS reimbursement consultant.

Starting with the most current policy clarifications from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and context under Medicare reform, this program will engage attendees in activities that gauge readiness and steer them toward areas to focus on as they make final preparations for implementation this summer.

The focus will be on rehabilitation, coding and documentation and operational excellence. The program will utilize case studies and an interactive approach to ensure that key takeaway messages are reinforced. Click here to register.
