NJHA will host the Antitrust, Tax and Accounting Issues in Hospital Mergers and Consolidations program Feb. 13.
This half-day education program will address the challenges that stakeholders must navigate under antitrust and tax laws as well as accounting guidelines. Issues to be covered include:
- Impact of federal and state antitrust enforcement on further provider consolidation
- Provider-payer contracts and joint ventures
- Tax benefits of combining for-profit affiliates, and
- Development of system-wide financial assistance policies.
