Apr. 16, 2019: Registration Open for Finance Education for Clinicians


Registration is open for Finance Education for Clinicians, Tuesday, April 30, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at NJHA headquarters in Princeton.

This session is hosted in collaboration with the New Jersey chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) for the fifth year running. The event is intended for clinicians seeking to understand the financial elements of hospital operations. The focus of this year’s program is building bridges between clinical and finance teams and will cover the following:

  • The fundamentals of the revenue cycle and the impact of clinical data on hospital reimbursement
  • Approaches for working with physicians to improve documentation
  • A discussion with a hospital CFO with successful experience integrating clinical and finance teams to maximize the hospital’s quality and financial performance.
