The Organization of Nurse Leaders New Jersey is hosting its Annual Holiday Meeting and Awards Brunch celebrating nursing leadership Dec. 7 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
The program includes brunch, a President’s Welcome by Ann Marie Leichman, MSN, RN, senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at The Valley Hospital, and entertainment from the Mentalist Duo, Larry and Raven. This is followed by the 2018 Awards presentation and installation of the 2019 ONL NJ Board of Directors.
The 2018 Nursing Leadership Awards Honorees are:
- Professional Recognition: AnneMarie Palatnik, DNP, RN, assistant vice president of clinical learning, academic affiliations and research at Virtua, Marlton
- Nurse Leader: Sharon Kelly, MSN, RN, manager/director of emergency services at Overlook Medical Center, Summit and Union campuses
- Divisional Leader: Paul G. Quinn, PhD, CNM, RN-BC, director of inpatient women’s and children’s services at The Valley Hospital
- Nurse Executive: Linda Carroll, MSN, RN-BC, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Saint Peter’s University Hospital
- Aspiring Nurse Leader: Tia Schober Sheck, BSN, RN, assistant nurse manager for surgical ICU and surgical step down, and research council chair at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland
- Excellence in Advanced Practice Nursing Leadership: Tara Gleeson, DNP, MSN, RN, CPNP, manager of child development and autism center at Morristown Medical Center
- Innovations in the Continuum of Care: Nancy M. H. Pontes, PhD, RN, assistant professor at Rutgers School of Nursing,
