May 25, 2018: ONL Research Day Conference Coming Soon


Join the Organization of Nurse Leaders, Thursday, June 7, at the 16th Annual Research Day Conference. This year’s theme is “Care for Our Own: Integrating Research into Nursing Practice.”

This program will take a deep dive into the behaviors that can strengthen nursing practice. Learn how the interactions of leaders and colleagues impact both job satisfaction and patient outcomes.

Susan Scott, PhD, RN, will share insights on her research related to the second victim phenomenon. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the second victim phenomenon, as well as how to avoid it. Scott will also share her experience of cultivating an area of interest and creating a research program.

Attendees will have access to research related to workplace environment, unique educational strategies for engaging students or clinical nurses, as well as selecting the correct instrument to measure outcomes during the full-day program. Participants will have the opportunity to network with seasoned and novice researchers as they discuss issues impacting nurses in New Jersey and across the country through the annual poster presentation.
