May 08, 2018: Registration Remains Open for Finance Education for Clinicians

There’s still time to register for Finance Education for Clinicians, a collaborative education session hosted by NJHA and the New Jersey chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

This full-day session has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 14, and includes a networking lunch.

This annual education event assists hospital professionals in fostering an integration of financial and clinical operations. This year’s session will provide a special focus on insurance and denials from a clinical perspective with attendees learning about insurance contracting and strategies for preventing and managing clinical denials.

The session will feature Dr. Ed Niewiadomski, president of Physician Advisor On-Call, as well as speakers from hospital revenue cycle operations and a health insurance provider.

This event will offer 5.25 contact hours of CEU nursing credits, 6 CPE accounting credits and 5 ACHE qualified education credits. Details and registration are available through the HFMA website. NJHA members should register as a “guest” on the HFMA website.
