There’s still time to register for Finance Education for Clinicians, a collaborative education session hosted by NJHA and the New Jersey chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). This full-day session will be held at NJHA March 21 and includes a networking lunch.

Finance Education for Clinicians teaches introductory finance concepts to clinical staff at hospitals. Attendees at this year’s session will learn about insurance and denials from a clinical perspective, including ideas to prevent and manage clinical denials. The session will feature speakers from hospital revenue cycle operations discussing insurance contracting at hospitals and a health insurance provider with insight on the insurance industry’s approach to complex clinical cases.
