NJHA’s Emergency Management department has worked diligently with industry professionals to update the Security Readiness Assessment Tool for healthcare facilities. 

This tool provides best practices to assist healthcare facilities when updating their security plans to meet today’s preparedness challenges. This version includes broad guidance for three healthcare entity types: acute care, long-term care and Federally Qualified Health Centers. It now includes new industry standards and events such as mass shootings.
