July 23, 2018: Register Today: Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative Learning Session July 25

There's still time to register for the NJHA Institute for Quality and Patient Safety's Antimicrobial Stewardship Collaborative In-Person Session July 25.

The collaborative promotes quality care and patient safety by emphasizing the appropriate agent, dose, duration and route of administration of antimicrobial agents both in the acute care and post-acute care settings. The program will include updates from key stakeholders in antimicrobial stewardship in New Jersey and innovative practices in acute care, long-term care and outpatient settings.

In addition, collaborative teams are asked to create and present a storyboard/poster outlining their efforts in implementing antimicrobial stewardship programs. Topics could include:

  • Stewardship strategies that have had the greatest impact on patient outcomes
  • Stewardship interventions that have helped reduce healthcare costs
  • Successes/challenges with stewardship.
