Jan. 02, 2018: NJHA Launches New Web Resources for Healthcare Consumers


NJHA added two new online resources this week to support healthcare consumers: an update to the Care Compare site for healthcare quality information and a consumer portal that provides a one-stop launch pad to resources for community members.

The enhanced Care Compare site is designed to give users easy access to an array of quality reports for both hospitals and post-acute care providers – knowing that no single source of information can provide a complete picture of an organization’s healthcare quality. It also provides information on assessing the various quality reports and links to resources to help consumers become more engaged in their healthcare.

The new Consumer portal puts an array of resources at users’ fingertips – data reports, patient brochures, insurance information, lists of providers, tools for advance care planning and more.
