NJHA will explore the “hot button” issues in critical care at the Critical Care Symposium: Putting New Evidence into Practice Oct. 24 at the NJHA Conference and Event Center.

Presenters from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine and other leading centers will discuss topics such as:

• Critical care nutrition
• The “ABCDEF Bundle”
• Critical care resuscitation units
• Palliative care
• Morals and ethics
• Care of the obese patient. 

This program is targeted toward physicians, intensivists, nurse practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, registered dieticians, pharmacists, pharm Ds, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and public health professionals. Continuing education credits are available.
