May 8, 2017: New Online Tool Provides Interactive Graphics on Cancer Statistics

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention unveiled an online tool that provides new data, displays and graphics for the CDC’s U.S. Cancer Statistics. Users can sort the data by state, cancer type, demographics and year.

The resource is a joint effort by the CDC and the National Cancer Institute to capture information on nearly every cancer diagnosed across the United States. The data is collected from hospitals, physicians and labs across the nation.

CDC encourages healthcare professionals, planners, policymakers and others to use the data and graphic tools to measure progress and target action.
