Mar. 20, 2017: I CODE Coder Mentor Program: Grow Your Own Coders

NJHA understands the challenges associated with coder vacancies and vacations, novice coders and the need to utilize contract coders to maintain the revenue cycle, among other concerns. To solve these dilemmas, NJHA-HBS developed the I CODE Coder Mentor Program.

This solution allows providers to “grow your own coders” and bridge the experience gap. The program includes:

  • Rigorous and proven live web-based ICD-10-CM/PCS curriculum (not pre-recorded sessions)
  • A 26-week program held two days per week including 80-plus hours of lecture time, case studies, exercises and quizzes to track understanding and proficiency
  • A combination of lecture and intense hands-on coding overseen by our certified ICD-10 instructors, and
  • Participants complete the program and are ready to hit the ground running as a seasoned coder at any facility.

To learn how to “grow your own coders,” join a complimentary webinar on Thursday, March 23, from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on how the I Code Program can help create a coding talent pipeline, reduce costs and improve accuracy and compliance risk.

Registration is required for this free webinar.
