Mar. 15, 2017: NJHA’s VeCred Updated with New Features

A powerful tool developed by NJHA’s IT experts, VeCred Enhanced is the go-to-resource for 85 percent of New Jersey acute care hospitals for license verifications and state/federal exclusion checking.

Since 2005, VeCred Enhanced has helped providers automate the verification process, save time and perform thousands of look-ups in a matter of minutes, eliminating human error.

This easy-to-use web-based solution is now even more valuable with a new software enhancement that accesses additional data sources. This one system can access different data sources, each unique with individual update time tables.

VeCred Enhanced addresses both New Jersey license verification and exclusion searches.

For New Jersey license verification;

  • New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs
  • PSI: NJ Certified Nurse Aide
  • New Jersey Department of Health

For exclusion searches:

  • New Jersey Department of Treasury
  • System for Award Management Exclusion Database
  • Office of the Inspector General Federal Exclusion Database (new)
  • Connecticut Department of Social Services Administrative Action List (new)
  • New Jersey Medicaid Exclusion Database (new)
  • New York Office of the Medicaid Inspector General Medicaid Exclusion List (new)
  • Pennsylvania Medicheck List (new)

With features like user verification activity logs, batch summary reports and other options for streamlined mass verifications, VeCred Enhanced provides all backup and history for any audits.

As license verifications and exclusions requirements continue to change, NJHA will continue to update the most relevant references for VeCred Enhanced.
