June 21, 2017: Registration Open for 2017 Rutgers Masters Certificate in Senior Care Management


Today’s senior care leaders need a keen understanding of strategy and finance in addition to keeping current in their knowledge and expertise in senior care services. That’s why NJHA, LeadingAge NJ and the Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, Executive and Professional Education program created the Senior Care Management Master’s Certificate.

Participants in this program will gain the strategic and organizational skills needed to navigate today’s rapidly changing senior healthcare environment as well as increased understanding of the current and anticipated pressures of senior healthcare management.

In addition, participants will:

  • Acquire focus around patient outcomes and experiences
  • Understand the economic, management and operational complexities of senior care
  • Learn about the senior care marketplace and the use of information technology in senior care
  • Adapt to the challenges of senior care delivery, strategic management issues and facilities operation, and
  • Gain insight into managing people, processes and organizations for strategic transformations in senior care.

The program consists of 10 three-hour modules beginning Oct. 5 taught by faculty from Rutgers as well as distinguished thought leaders and industry experts.
