Aug. 18, 2017: NJHA to Host the New Jersey Sepsis Learning Action Collaborative


The mission of this Sept. 20 New Jersey Sepsis Learning and Action Collaborative face-to-face program is to spread evidence-based sepsis interventions throughout the acute and post-acute care settings.

In this third year of the collaborative, hospitals face challenges related to managing sepsis in vulnerable patient populations, preventing readmissions related to sepsis and engaging patients and their families in sepsis quality improvement efforts aimed at early recognition and rapid treatment of sepsis.

The program will discuss the current state of sepsis quality improvement activities in New Jersey and nationally, implementation a pediatric sepsis screening and treatment program and relevant strategies and resources to engage patients and families in sepsis care and improvement

Physicians, nurses, and pharmacist infection preventionists are welcome.  Continuing education credits will be provided.
