ONE NJ received the Chapter Achievement Award at the AONE national conference in recognition for successfully implementing a statewide mentorship program. Maria Brennan, DNP, RN, CPHQ, Chief Nursing Officer, St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and President elect, ONENJ received the award on behalf of the organization.
Since 1971, the Organization of Nurse Executives, New Jersey (ONENJ) has been the professional organization of choice for nursing leaders in their quest for a united voice in representing nursing administration and management in all practice settings. ONENJ is affiliated with the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) and is also affiliated with the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE).
The membership of ONENJ is inclusive of the engagement of all nurse leaders and aspiring nurse leaders in the state. It is committed to ongoing professional development, creating and sustaining formal and informal nursing mentorship opportunities at all levels, and mapping the future of safe patient care delivery in NJ.
Membership in ONE/NJ provides opportunities to promote and develop excellence in the practice of nursing administration and share information on advocacy and key issues impacting nursing.
