New Jersey hospitals also provide a critical safety net for individuals who are uninsured or who have no other source of primary healthcare. All told, New Jersey hospitals deliver nearly $1 billion in charity care services each year. No one is turned away.

Hospitals' contributions ripple throughout New Jersey, preserving not only the state's health but also its economic well-being. New Jersey hospitals provide 125,000 jobs and $14 billion in annual revenues that drive both state and local economies.
