Laws & Regulations: New Jersey & United States
Introduction
Sometimes it seems like legislation and regulations make the world go around, or at least healthcare and medicine. Finding and using them are often vital to the healthcare professional but its like looking for a needle in a haystack. Whether it is called a law, statute, rule, reg, bill or legislation, these web pages can help you find it.
This is both a quick access tool for the plethora of web resources in this area, as well as a research guide for the serious searcher. The NJHA Library offers valuable tips and resources for more in-depth legislative and regulatory research for the information professional or avid searcher. It is not intended to be either comprehensive in nature or a guide to case law research. Other resources for this purpose are provided.
When it comes to research, we always suggest novices consult with experts such as your hospital/system health science librarian as well as the NJHA Library, especially when in doubt or for complex information needs. You don't know what you don't know.
