NJHA has developed and pilot-tested an on-campus event that brings together a host college or university with NJHA and its local healthcare members to promote health, safety and well-being. Part picnic, part health fair, the event includes NJHA members providing hands-on activities that address issues including nutrition, substance abuse, intoxication and impairment, stress and anxiety, exercise, sexually transmitted diseases and how to access healthcare services as a young adult.

Temporarily on hiatus because of the COVID-19 public health emergency. NJHA looks forward to bringing this popular program back to campus.

The initiative engages students with two themes:

Unplug & Connect focuses on emotional and social wellness by encouraging students to put down their phones, take out their earbuds and connect with fellow students.

Retro-Activity, with a tagline of “Just play. No charger required,” is designed to encourage physical activity and social interaction through traditional games and activities.
