After graduating from an approved school of nursing or allied health, graduates must pass the licensure examination offered by their professional board in the state in which they wish to practice. The following healthcare professions must be licensed through professional boards located within the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs:

• Audiologists and Speech-language Pathologists
• Home Health Aides
• Nurses
• Occupational Therapists
• Pharmacists
• Physical Therapists
• Respiratory Therapists
• Social Workers
