The virus previously referred to as swine influenza is now referred to as H1N1 influenza. NJHA is providing regular provider updates on news and information regarding New Jersey's response to the outbreak of 2009 H1N1 flu. The information is gathered by NJHA staff, which is in constant communication with the state Department of Health and Senior Services and other public health and emergency response agencies.
Public Hotline: The state Department of Health and Senior Services has established a hotline to answer New Jersey residents' questions about the influenza outbreak. The number is 1-866-321-9571.
