NJHA's Algorithm for Disaster Information Preparedness: Checklist for Medical Librarian's (.pdf file size 40 KB 4 pgs. )
Updated May 11, 2005, based on NJHA Library participation in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security TOPOFF3 Exercise; see also: the NJHA TOPOFF3 Web site. This checklist details the major steps hospital librarians should take to prepare library services, collections and resources for all types of emergencies but especially those of a bioterrorist nature. Originally presented at a seminar, Thinking the Unthinkable - Biochemical Terrorism and Disasters: Information Resources for Medical Librarians, December 5, 2001 that was co-sponsored by New Jersey Hospital Association and Middle Atlantic Region, National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM).
