TheaterRows of chairs, no tables. Best for large groups when you expect little or no participation. Your major concern is that your screen is large enough and clearly visible to all.
ClassroomRows of chairs and tables. Best for a large group and a long session in a situation where you cannot set up a U-shape. Suitable for audiences of almost any size for work/lecture. The herringbone shape lets participants see one another and the tables provide plenty of workspace.
ConferenceTables and chairs set in a rectangle. Often, this is the only arrangement in a small room. A good format for discussions involving six to 20 people.
AmphitheaterSemicircular rows of chairs, with or without tables. This is the very best setting for presentations of short to moderate length. Here, the audience sits in half circles around the speaker. This configuration permits the seating of more people per square foot of floor space than any other arrangements and at the same time puts everyone relatively close to the presenter. Ideal for presentations followed by question-and-answer sessions.
Garden RoomDining in an attractively decorated atmosphere.
