Program Gives Unemployed Veterans a New Mission: Helping New Jersey Residents Get Health Insurance

The open enrollment period for the federal Health Insurance Marketplace ended March 31 (except for brief “special enrollment periods” for those who experience a qualifying “life event” change that affects their coverage.) Enrollment in New Jersey’s insurance program, NJ FamilyCare, is open year-round for those who qualify.
