Mission
The New Jersey Association of Directors of Volunteer Services is a professional organization that exists to serve its members by:
- promoting awareness of the role of the directors of volunteer services in healthcare facilities
- providing opportunities for educational and professional development
- identifying, communicating and advocating for current issues (legislative, healthcare, volunteerism, standards)
Membership Eligibility
NJADVS consists of two membership categories: Regular memberships is for a paid or appointed individual who manages, directs or coordinates the administration of volunteer services in a New Jersey healthcare facility. Associate membership is for an individual who is not eligible for regular membership, but who maintains an ongoing interest in the field of volunteer management in healthcare. Membership in the Association shall be available to individuals who are or were active in volunteer administration and who meet criteria for personal membership in the Association.
