Organization Name New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists
Mission The New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists is the state association representing pharmacists and related personnel associated with organized healthcare settings. The mission of the Society is to represent its members; to provide leadership; to provide membership services; to foster safe and rational patient-oriented drug therapy; to encourage innovation in pharmacy practice; to provide and promote education for the benefit of the profession and the public; and to identify issues affecting the profession and respond effectively.
Membership Eligibility The membership of the Society shall consist of individuals interested in the objectives of the Society. Membership in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is encouraged but not required. Eligibility categories include:
Active Members - pharmacists Active Joint Members - husband and wife members Active Retired Members - members of the society retiring from active practice
Active Members Associate Supporting Members - individuals who work in health services, teach prospective hospital pharmacists or otherwise contribute to institutional pharmacy Associate Student Members - students in undergraduate programs in accredited colleges of pharmacy
Technician Members - pharmacy technicians Honorary Members
