Voluntary Long Term Care Insurance
The way your employees are planning for their future is changing. Because of alterations in Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and OBRA 93, many employees may not have adequate protection for themselves and their families during their retirement years. Medicare reimbursements are highly limited and typically pay just 2 percent of total costs nationwide. More than 40 percent of individuals age 65 and over will enter a nursing home and encounter certain government restrictions that impede the transfer of personal assets. This in turn endangers Medicaid eligibility. As a result, long-term care insurance is becoming increasingly vital in protecting the assets of employees and their families.
Your employees can benefit with a highly competitive voluntary long term care program that offers excellent provisions and flexibility. NJHA will also establish professional enrollment teams who can help your employees make the best decisions for their needs. We'll even help you take the program beyond your hospital walls and help you to enhance your senior community outreach efforts.
